What is a skin booster?

A skin booster is a treatment that delivers ingredients directly into the skin to help fill out the skin tissue, aiming to restore elasticity, soften fine lines, and improve hydration.

Rather than caring for the surface alone, it aims to improve your skin's condition from within for radiant, healthy-looking skin.

Microneedle injector

Needle length matched to skin thickness.A medical device that injects medication into the skin through 9 fine needles in a pressure-sensing automatic injection mode. Negative pressure holds the needles against the skin surface so the medication is delivered across the treatment area. Needle length is chosen according to skin thickness and a set dose is injected. How much discomfort you feel during treatment varies from person to person.

Microneedle RF device

RF energy and skin-booster ingredients together.A treatment that creates fine channels in the dermis with microneedles while injecting skin-booster ingredients such as PDRN, PN and hyaluronic acid into the skin. RF energy delivery and ingredient injection are done in one session, and the depth and energy are chosen from several types of tips to suit your skin. It is used for concerns such as fine lines, pores, loss of elasticity and redness; the degree of change varies with skin condition.

Post-procedure precautions

  • For 7 days after treatment, avoid heat stimulation such as saunas, jjimjilbang, and intense exercise.

  • Redness, swelling, or a bumpy texture may appear right after treatment, but subsides naturally within 7 days.

  • Keep makeup to a minimum on the day of treatment, and refrain from scrubs, peels, and strong massage for 7 days.

  • During the recovery period, reduce external irritation so the active ingredients can settle in stably.

Skin Booster Q&A

  • When will I start to see results?

Some patients feel their skin become hydrated and clearer right after treatment. Because the skin's response takes time, any improvements in elasticity, pores, and fine lines tend to appear gradually over several weeks and vary from person to person.

  • How many sessions do I need?

If your goal is to improve your skin's condition, you may notice a change even after one session. If the goal is to improve elasticity, pores, and fine lines, we recommend 3–5 repeat sessions at 4-week intervals, and maintenance care can be combined afterward.

  • Can it be combined with other treatments?

It can be combined with other skin treatments (microneedling, laser, lifting); the interval and combination are decided after consultation based on your skin's condition.
